May 17, 2022 - Roux Conlon, owner-operator of the work-in-progress, historic Milk House Project on Grandview Avenue and Hill Street. The Conlon family purchased the landmark property that goes back to the 1890s and its beginning as a trolley terminal and grocery store that connected the Grandview area with downtown.
With the goal of preserving the structure, the property will be upgraded to become a neighborhood eatery, bakery and coffee house. The old white-frame addition will be razed and replaced with a beautiful 19th century inspired greenhouse-enclosed patio with large windows creating an open-air dining experience.

Rotary Trash Pickup a Success

Thanks to the Rotarians and Rotaract students that helped to pick up trash along our 3-mile section of US 52 near St. Donatus on May 7. Service Above Self carried the day, helped by great weather.

Thanks also to Rotarian Jon Luckstead and Jeanne for hosting refreshments at their home after the pick up.
