"Bring It Home" - Field of Dreams

As you know, for 35+ years, the Field of Dreams has stood as one of the world’s most iconic cultural landmarks. Now, for the first time, the entire 297-acre site is under the stewardship of a local nonprofit that is working to preserve the original movie site while transforming the property into a world-class destination for sports, education, and culture.

 

The vision includes a professional ballpark, a youth sports complex welcoming 1000+ teams annually, preservation of the movie site, and educational programming focused on leadership, financial literacy, mental health, and more. 

 

The recent Labor Day concert series featuring Tim McGraw and Nickelback drew nearly 35,000 attendees to Dubuque Co., with over $11 million in economic impact over one weekend. The potential for continued destination development is significant and exciting. We anticipate more exciting announcements in the weeks ahead that will continue to uplift our region as a hub for connection.
