A truly magical place to experience the wonders of the natural world, and a place full of joy and imagination.

The Wanderwood Gardens will foster curiosity and creativity in every person who steps through its gates.

Jared McGovern will share the motivation behind the gardens and guide you on an enchanting journey with nature.

Join us this week as we hear from Rev. Samuel Felderman and learn more about the work being done at the Dubuque Rescue Mission.  We will discuss new projects on the horizon, how homelessness landscape has changed both locally and nationally, and how the larger community can help those most in need. 

Ericka Raber will be talking about the new book for 2026 that has been choosen by the Dubuque County Reads Program.

Anthony Williams will be giving us an update on renovations, new hotel and everything else happening at the Q Casino.

Georgia will be speaking about her baking philosophy, history and her new retail bakery that opened in October 2025.

The Dubuque Police Crisis Intervention Team (CIT), which began as a part-time initiative in 2020 and became full-time in 2023, has made a significant impact on the tri-state area.

Since summer 2023, the CIT has worked closely with the Dubuque Rescue Mission and its local partners, helping individuals in need by connecting them to critical services, such as inpatient rehabilitation and medical units for those experiencing brain health emergencies. The team’s approach is centered on compassion, empathy, and collaboration with community partners to provide the best support possible.

The CIT team, has profoundly impacted the lives of those they serve, offering a human connection that helps individuals rise above their struggles and achieve a better quality of life. Their work demonstrates the power of understanding and the belief that everyone has value, no matter their circumstances.
